Mimic Class Reports Print E-mail

Classification Societies require, for their Condition Monitoring notation, that vibration and process data are presented to the Surveyor at the time of the survey. Their preferred method is for a report that shows both the process data and the vibration data in the form of historical trend graphs.

The Mimic Reporting system allows such reports to be created quickly and easily from the data stored in Mimic. The reports can easily show not only the historical trend graphs but also the maximum and minimum pressures and temperatures for the asset over the relevant time period. This allows both the Surveyor and the ships personnel to quickly determine any deterioration in the asset, thus allowing the Surveyor to quickly credit the item for survey without the need to open up machinery.

In Association with Lloyd’s Register, Carnival UK, and SpecTec

Generated from within the Mimic Condition Monitoring software, the report will combine condition monitoring and vibration data together with vital information from the AMOS M&P and present it in electronic or hardcopy versions to a visiting Class Surveyor. Created in conjunction with Lloyds Register, this report will allow ship operators to present machinery information required for class survey in a simple, quick and cost effective manner.

The report will form part of James Fisher’s Mimic suite of Condition Monitoring software tools and products that are helping many ship owners to control the cost of their maintenance during these difficult times.

The Mimic class report promises to substantially increase the efficiency of surveys and the flow of information between the parties involved with the surveys.
